Basic Rules & Etiquette

  • 1/10 scale RC Drift cars.

    Rear wheel drive. (RWD)

Four wheel drive (4WD) permitted by exception during open track sessions.

    2S batteries only.

    Spec tires only:

    • DS Racing CS - LF3 / LF4 / LF5

    • MST Silver Dot

    • Valino Buzzbreaks

    • Nothing that has been used outside please!

We want as many people as possible to have access to the club and to grow RC drifting on the IOW, so if your car doesn’t meet these specs at first, come see us at the start of the session and we’ll check things out. Our priority is protecting the venue floor so we’re allowed to keep coming back.

  • We want to avoid potential damage to peoples’ cars - they’re expensive and have likely had many hours work put into them.

And so, we ask that you:

Never drive the wrong way around the track.

Do not stop your car on the track. (Pull into a parking zone or unused part of the track to get out of the way)

Do not deliberately bump or crash into other cars.

‍Please do not deliberately bump or crash into our track scenery, it took a lot of time and effort to make and we want to keep it around for you to enjoy in the future!

If you’re jumping into a train of cars, join the back, rather than in-between or in-front.

  • ALWAYS use a LiPo bag when charging batteries - this is a safety precaution.

Please share the pit area respectfully:

Help and look out for each other.

Treat our host venue kindly so they keep allowing us to come back.

Clear up after yourself by putting rubbish in the bins provided.

Ensure you don’t damage any of the venue’s property. (And if you accidentally do, let us know asap so we can help)

  • We expect everyone who comes through our doors to respect and cooperate with each other on and off-track.

Be nice or you will be asked to leave. :-)

  • You will be asked to leave.
